Create an Anavio account for your organization, or use an invitation to join an account that already exists. If your administrator invited you, start with the invited-user steps below.
Join an existing account
Use the email address your administrator entered for you. You do not need to create another organization account.
- Open your Anavio invitation and follow its link.
- If asked to set a password, enter a New Password that meets the requirements shown, repeat it in Confirm password, and select Continue.
- Open the Anavio sign-in page. Enter your Email and Password, then select Sign In.
If the invitation is for mobile access, continue with Set up and use mobile access. If you received a selfie enrollment link and PIN, go directly to the invited-user section of Enroll a face credential; that invitation has its own enrollment steps.
Create a new organization account
Use this path if you are responsible for setting up a new account. Have your organization's account name and your own contact details ready.
- Open Anavio Signup.
- Enter an Account Name of your choice, your First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number. Choose the country for your phone number.
- Read the linked Terms of Service. If you agree, select Create Account.
- Check your email for the confirmation message and follow its link to complete account setup. When asked to set a password, enter New Password and Confirm password, then select Continue.
- Open the sign-in page, enter your Email and Password, and select Sign In.
Next, follow Set up sites, zones, and time zones, then Add readers and camera hubs.
Recover access or find a missing menu
If the confirmation or invitation is missing, check your spam folder. The password-setup link for a new account's administrator expires after 10 minutes. If that link expires, or you forget your Anavio password:
- On the sign-in page, select Forgot Password?.
- Enter your registered Email and select Continue.
- Open the recovery email and set your password using the steps above.
If your organization uses Microsoft Entra ID, use Sign in with Microsoft when offered and follow your organization's sign-in process. Ask your administrator for help with that account. Administrators planning a migration can use the Microsoft Entra ID sign-in guide.
Note: Door access and portal access are separate. If a menu is missing, ask an administrator to check your Portal Access, Role, and Access Site(s). A mobile credential does not by itself give you permission to administer Anavio.
If you still cannot complete account setup, contact support. For role choices, see Permissions for user roles.
