Install the Anavio app and use your phone to open a nearby door. Your administrator must first issue your mobile credential and assign your door access.
Install the app and sign in
- Open your Anavio mobile invitation and use its App Store or Google Play link to install the app.
- If you received a password-setup invitation, complete it first. Use the email address registered by your administrator when you sign in.
- Open Anavio. At the Sign In page, allow Bluetooth access for nearby doors.
- Sign in with your account credentials. After signing in, allow Location access to find nearby doors. Keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone.
For password recovery, see Create your account and sign in. If you have not received a mobile invitation, ask your administrator to follow Issue a mobile credential.
After sign-in, the app also asks for Microphone and Notifications permissions for calls and doorbell alerts. Allow these if you will use those features. Your administrator must add you to the Directory for doorbell notifications. For the first-call Local Networks prompt and call handling, see Answer calls and fix intercom problems.
Open a nearby door
- Stand near the reader and open Home in the app.
- Let the nearby-door search run. If it has stopped, tap Search for Nearby Doors.
- When the intended door's name appears, tap it to request an unlock.
Your assigned access and the reader's identification settings still apply. Nearby discovery alone does not grant permission to enter.
Find a missing door
- On Home, check that the account name is the one you expect.
- Open Doors. If a site dropdown appears, select the site that contains the door.
- For nearby discovery, check Bluetooth and the app's Bluetooth and Location permissions, then return to Home and tap Search for Nearby Doors.
- If the door is still missing, ask your administrator to check your mobile credential, access schedule, and the reader's Mobile identification option.
For doorbell calls, see Answer calls and fix intercom problems. Calls have additional permissions and administrator setup.
