Open Notifications in the Anavio portal to read system notices, device warnings, and alerts produced by workflows. You can mark notices as read, clear them, and adjust your notification sound.
Notifications are available for the last seven days and then clear automatically. Keep the details of a notice you need for follow-up before it leaves that window.
Read a notification
- Select the bell icon in the portal header to open Notifications.
The bell opens Notifications. This example shows one unread notice. Select the image to view it full size. - Read the notice's title, description, date, and time. A filled red status dot marks an unread notice.
Example unread notice. Keep its details before clearing it if follow-up is needed. Select the image to view it full size. - Select the notice to mark it as read. If it includes a destination, Anavio also opens the linked details. A notice without a destination can still be marked as read.
- Scroll through the panel to load more available notices.
- System notices: Updates, maintenance, new features, or service interruptions.
- Device warnings: Conditions such as Edge storage not detected or Insufficient power.
- Workflow alerts: Notices generated by configured event workflows.
A device warning needs attention to the device itself. Marking it as read or clearing it does not repair the reported condition. For storage warnings, use Manage recording, storage, and cloud backup; for connectivity or power problems, see Find system details and contact support.
Mark or clear notices
- On a desktop browser, select Mark all as read if you have finished reviewing the unread notices.
- To remove one notice from your list, select its Clear control, shown as an X.
- When notices remain but none are unread, select Clear All if you want to remove them from your list.
Before clearing a warning you plan to report, retain its exact message, device name, and time.
Change notification sound
- Open Profile and find Notification Sound.
- Set In-App Notification Sound to ON or OFF. The change saves when you switch it.
- Use Doorbell Notification Sound separately if you also want to change the portal's doorbell sound.
Sound settings control the audible cue. They do not define which events generate workflow alerts or replace your phone's notification permissions. For administrator alert configuration, see Set up alerts and workflows. For mobile doorbell calls that do not arrive, see Answer calls and fix intercom problems.
