Anavio generates unique keys for each customer to ensure secure operation. Anavio cannot read or re-use key cards that are encrypted with a proprietary authentication key. It is important to use unencoded cards with Anavio.
Recommended
Use Anavio MIFARE Classic 1K unencoded cards/fobs.
Anavio will write the facility code and card number using customer specific secure key.
To enable this mode:
Log in to your Anavio account.
Go to Account Settings.
Turn off Allow Multi-Protocol Cards.
This ensures cards are managed securely in your Anavio environment.
Alternative
Use 13.56 MHz RFID card/fobs with multi-protocol enabled.
To enable this mode:
Log in to your Anavio account.
Go to Account Settings.
Turn on Allow Multi-Protocol Cards and enter settings as below.
