Add holiday dates, then choose whether your schedules should run on those dates. Adding a holiday alone does not keep a door locked.
You'll need permission to manage schedules. If you haven't created a schedule yet, start with Set up schedules.
Add holiday dates
- Open the main menu and select Holidays.
- Select Add Holiday.
- Enter a Holiday Name—for example, "Office Closure".
- Choose the Month and Date.
- Select Add Holiday.
Review your holiday dates each year, especially for holidays that fall on a different date. The form uses a month and day, without a year field.
Choose which schedules run on holidays
- Open Schedules → User Schedule and select the schedule.
- In When, open the time entry's row menu and select Edit.
-
Choose Active on Holidays:
Choice Intended behavior No Exclude dates in the Holidays list from this time entry. Yes Allow this time entry to run on holidays. This does not define different opening hours. - Select Update.
Repeat for any other time entries in the schedule that need the same holiday choice.
For a holiday closure: Set No on the relevant entries in automatic-opening schedules. Review other schedules and manual controls for the same doors; changing one schedule does not cancel the others.
For employee access: Review credential-access schedules separately. Employees may need to enter even when the door no longer opens automatically.
For shorter holiday hours or a one-date exception, contact support for the supported setup. Do not assume that a shorter time entry overrides a longer one.
Edit or delete a holiday
Open Holidays and use the entry's row menu:
- Edit: Select Edit Holiday, change the details, then select Update.
- Delete: Select Delete Holiday, then confirm with Delete.
