The Archived video includes a digitally signed video file and an Anavio player that confirms the video file’s integrity before it can be viewed. This verification step ensures the video has not been modified or tampered with.

Exports include a cryptographic signature to verify the origin of the footage and confirm it was generated by an authentic Anavio system.Evidentiary Validation:

All archived video downloads in Anavio are delivered as a ZIP file, which includes the Anavio player. The Archive feature is only available to Full Access, Manager, and Supervisor roles.
How to Archive an event
1. Select any event thumbnail
Click the three dots option and select Archive Event.
This can also be done by clicking the thumbnail; during playback, click the archive button at the bottom right.
2. Create Archive
Enter the start and end time manually or by dragging the blue arrow mark in either direction. User can also zoom in and out of the timeline for easy selection of time. Maximum archive time is 2 hours at a time.
3. Add Archive
Click Add Archive to start the archive process.
4. Archive page
Click Go to Archives. This takes you to the Archives page where you can download, share or delete the archive. All archives have a maximum validity of 7 days. You can also review the archive by clicking the thumbnail.
5. Extract downloaded files
Unzip the downloaded archive and place all files into a folder on your computer.
6. Open the Player
Double-click AnavioPlayer to open it.
7. Select the Video file
Choose the video from the left panel to play the video.
8. Verification process
The system confirms the video’s authenticity and checks that it has not been altered. A green tick mark next to the video represents verification is passed and a red cross mark represents verification is failed.
9. Playback
If verification passes, Video can be viewed. Playback supports Fast forward up to 16x, Fast rewind up to 16x, Step forward, Step rewind and Digital zoom.
If verification fails, playback is blocked to indicate a potential integrity issue.
