Camera Storage

SD cards are available for NEXT cameras to provide onboard storage, offering up to 60 days of SD resolution video and up to 30 days of event-based HD resolution video. This ensures our customers meet their retention needs without compromising on video quality.

Camera Recording

NEXT cameras record video in both high and standard quality streams simultaneously. Standard quality video is recorded for up to 60 days. When an event is detected (People/Vehicle/Animal), high quality footage is saved to onboard storage.

Standard quality video is retained for the full up to 60 days. Any additional onboard storage is allocated for high quality video and audio (if enabled). If there are a significant number of events, the storage space for high quality footage may fill up. When this happens, the camera prioritizes recent high-quality video, overwriting older footage to ensure the latest events are preserved. Standard quality video retention remains unaffected.

Camera Cloud Backup

Anavio provides 30 days, 60 days or 90 days cloud backup for NEXT cameras, ensuring the SD card storage is securely replicated; this is offered as premium license. For extended backup storage options, please reach out to us at anavio@vicon-security.com.
