How to set up the Wiegand input and output to connect to third party readers and controllers
The Wiegand input will allow an external card reader to be connected to the Anavio Reader. In this case, when the user presents the card on the external reader, the card number will be sent to the Anavio Reader for processing.
The Wiegand output will allow the Anavio Reader to connect to an external third party (ACU) access control unit. When using third party access control systems, the Anavio Reader will send the user’s card number to the ACU.
