Overview
Anavio allows users to configure and customize Video Wall layouts for monitoring multiple camera feeds simultaneously. Users can add devices, set grid layouts, enable public view, and configure auto-switching.
Create a New Video Wall View
Click Video Wall from the left menu. Click the Create View button in the top right corner of the page.
Enter View Name and Filters
- Enter Name: Provide a descriptive name for your view.
- Select Site(s): Choose one or more sites from the dropdown.
- Select Zones: Filter cameras by specific zones.
- Public Toggle: Enable sharing this view publicly to allow others to use this view.
Note that Public View can only be enabled if all devices in the view are from a single site.
Add Devices
Use the Add Devices panel on the left to browse and select cameras. Sites are displayed as expandable folders (e.g., US - Hauppauge, UK - Hedge End). Click the + symbol next to a site to display a list of available cameras.
Configure Grid Layout
Click the Grid Layout button. Choose a grid layout to organize camera feeds:
- 1x1: Single camera view
- 1x2: Two cameras horizontally
- 2x2: Four-camera grid
- 2x3: Six-camera grid
- 3x3: Nine-camera grid
- 3x4: Twelve-camera grid
- 4x4: Sixteen-camera grid
- 1&5: Six-camera grid
Place Cameras
Drag and drop cameras from the device list into the grid. Each grid cell holds one camera feed. Arrange as needed.
Add Pages
Click Add Page to create additional pages for your Video Wall. Repeat the procedure above to add devices to the additional pages as needed. Navigate between pages using the arrow controls below the grid. Click the Save View button to save the view.
Auto Switch Feature
The Auto Switch feature allows views to change pages automatically at set intervals. Options include Off, 10 sec, 20 sec, 40 sec, 1 min, 2 min, and 5 min. Access this option from the gear icon in the top-right corner of the active view screen.
Full Screen Feature
To see the saved view in full screen, click the full screen icon in the top right hand corner.
High Definition Stream
To view an individual camera stream in high definition, user can double click in any location in the live stream and user can see the HD stream in a separate pop up.
Edit and Delete Views
To edit a view, click the Edit View button. Make the desired changes and click Update. To remove a view, click the Delete button.
