Camera info
- Select Devices from the left menu and select Cameras.
- Select the camera and click the three dots on the thumbnail to select Camera Settings from the dropdown or open the thumbnail and click the Settings gear icon in the top left of the live feed.
- In the Camera Info tab, you can see detailed information about the camera, including:
- Serial Number
- Firmware Version
- Model
- Hub Name
- SD Card Status
- Creation Date
- Status (e.g., Active)
- Connection Status (e.g., Online)
- An option to view live video from the camera
- You can update the camera name by editing the Name field and clicking the Update button.
Setting the site and zone
- You will see options to assign the camera to a site and zone.
- Assign Site:
- Site Field: Click on the dropdown menu next to the Site field to view a list of available sites.
- Site Name: Select the desired site for the camera from the list of available sites.
- Assign Zone
- Zone Name: Select the zone for the camera from the list of available zones.
- Site Field: Click on the dropdown menu next to the Site field to view a list of available sites.
- Save Changes
- After making your selections, click the Update button to save the changes.
Camera setup
- Select Devices from the left menu and select Cameras. Select the camera you want to configure.
- From the Camera Setup section, click on Image.

Pan/Tilt/Rotate Arrowhead Control
- Arrowheads: Click to pan and tilt the camera to the position required.
- Use the arrows to rotate the image right or left.

Hardware Zoom
- Zoom Slider: Use the slider to adjust the hardware zoom level of the camera. The available range is 1X to 3X.
- Drag the slider to the desired zoom level.
- Zoom Slider: Use the slider to adjust the hardware zoom level of the camera. The available range is 1X to 3X.
- Orientation
- Mirror/Flip/Auto Rotate
- Mirror: Change the left-right orientation of the image (horizontal).
- Flip: Change the vertical orientation of the image.
- Auto Rotate: Use this to rotate the image based on the cameras position, for example if the view is upside down it will be corrected.

Corridor Mode
Toggle Corridor Mode to switch the camera to portrait orientation
Useful for hallways, aisles, and narrow spaces

Region of Interest (ROI)
Draw a region directly on the camera preview
Analytics events will trigger only within the selected area, reducing false alerts
Regions can be edited, disabled, or removed at any time

Analytics Settings

Available Analytics Types:
Person Detection – Detects and records events involving human presence
Animal Detection – Detects and records events involving animals
Vehicle Detection – Detects and records events involving vehicles
Face Recogination – Detects and records events involving faces

Enable / Disable Analytics:
Check the box next to an analytics type to enable it
Uncheck the box to disable it

Date and Time (OSD):
- Select the location of the date and time on the image.
- Top Left: The OSD displays in the top left corner of the image.
- Top Right: The OSD displays in the top right corner of the image.
- Bottom Left: The OSD displays in the bottom left corner of the image.
- Bottom Right: The OSD displays in the bottom right corner of the image.
- Select the location of the date and time on the image.

Camera Name (OSD):
Enable or disable the camera name overlay
Select display position (top/bottom, left/right)
The camera name will be included in recordings and exported video when enabled

Pan/Tilt/Rotate Arrowhead Control
- The settings will be applied immediately, and the camera feed will update accordingly.
Audio
- Select Devices from the left menu and select Cameras. Select the camera you want to configure.
- From the Camera Settings, select Audio.
- Use the toggle switch to enable/disable Live Audio; turn On or Off.
- Save your changes by clicking Update.
Backup
Accessing cloud backup settings
- Select Devices from the left menu and select Cameras. Select the camera you want to configure.
- From the Camera Settings, select Backup to open the Cloud Backup settings panel.
Enabling/disabling cloud backup
- Toggle Switch: Located in the Cloud Backup settings panel, this switch allows you to enable or disable cloud backup.
- ON: When the switch is toggled to ON, cloud backup is enabled.
- OFF: When the switch is toggled to OFF, cloud backup is disabled.
Backup duration
- 30-Day Backup: By default, enabling cloud backup will replicate the SD card content for 30 days in the cloud. This ensures that the most recent 30 days of footage is always available in the cloud.
Save changes
- Update Button: After toggling the cloud backup switch, click the Update button to save the changes. The Update button is located to the right of the toggle switch. If the button is disabled, ensure that the toggle switch is correctly set.
Additional cloud backup requirements
- Contact Vicon: If you require cloud backup for more than 30 days, contact Vicon for additional options and support.
Network
The camera is part of a Hub and the network settings are managed from the Hub settings page. A button is provided to go to that page. This page displays the information but should not be modified here.
