Camera Info tab
- In Anavio, select "Cameras" from the section dropdown, and go to Cameras on the side navigation.
- Select the camera and click the "Settings" icon in the top left of the live feed.

In the Camera Info tab, you can see detailed information about the camera, including:
- Serial Number
- Model
- Creation Date
- Status (e.g., Active)
- Connection Status (e.g., Online)
- An option to Reboot the camera
- You can update the camera name by editing the Name field and clicking the Update button.
Zones tab
- In the Edit Zones section, you will see options to assign the camera to different sites and primary zones.
- Assign Site:
- Site Field: Click on the dropdown menu next to the Site field to view a list of available sites.
- Available Sites: Select the desired site for the camera from the list of available sites.
- Assign Primary Zone
- Primary Zone Field: Click on the dropdown menu next to the Primary Zone field to view a list of available zones.
- Available Zones: Select the primary zone for the camera from the list of available zones.
- To remove a zone, click the X button next to the zone name.
- Save Changes
- After making your selections, click the Assign button to save the changes.
- If you want to discard your changes, click the Reset button.
Event Settings tab
- Navigate to Camera Details: From the main menu, select the camera you want to configure.
- Select Event Settings Tab: Within the Camera Details section, click on the Event Settings tab.
- Event Settings Interface
- Person Detection: This option allows the camera to detect and record events involving human presence.
- Animal Detection: This option enables the camera to detect and record events involving animals.
- Vehicle Detection: This option allows the camera to detect and record events involving vehicles.
Configuring Event Settings
- Activating/Deactivating Event Types
- To activate an event type, ensure the checkbox next to the event (Person Detection, Animal Detection, or Vehicle Detection) is checked.
- To deactivate an event type, uncheck the corresponding checkbox.
- Save Changes
- After selecting or deselecting the event type(s), click the Update button on the right side of the screen to save your changes.
Image Settings tab
- Hardware Zoom
- Zoom Slider: Use the slider to adjust the hardware zoom level of the camera. The available range is 1X to 3X.
- Drag the slider to the desired zoom level. The preview image on the right will reflect the changes after clicking Update.
- Zoom Slider: Use the slider to adjust the hardware zoom level of the camera. The available range is 1X to 3X.
- WDR (Wide Dynamic Range):
- WDR Toggle: Toggle the switch to turn WDR ON or OFF.
- WDR ON: Enhances image quality by balancing the lighting in scenes with high contrast between light and dark areas.
- WDR OFF: Disables the WDR feature, which may be useful in evenly lit environments.
- WDR Toggle: Toggle the switch to turn WDR ON or OFF.
- Night Mode:
- Night Mode Options: Select from AUTO, ON, or OFF for night mode.
- AUTO: The camera will automatically switch to night mode based on ambient light conditions.
- ON: Forces the camera to always use night mode, useful for consistently low-light environments.
- OFF: Disables night mode, keeping the camera in day mode regardless of lighting conditions.
- Night Mode Options: Select from AUTO, ON, or OFF for night mode.
- Save Changes:
- After making the desired adjustments, click the Update button to save the changes.
- The settings will be applied immediately, and the camera feed will update accordingly.
RTSP tab
- Navigate to the Camera Details page.
- Click on the RTSP tab to open the RTSP settings panel.
Enabling/Disabling RTSP
- Toggle Switch: Located at the top right corner of the RTSP settings panel, this switch allows you to enable or disable RTSP streaming. Toggle it to ON to enable or OFF to disable the RTSP service.
User Credentials
- User: This field shows the username required for RTSP streaming.
- Password: This field displays the password associated with the RTSP stream.
- Copy Buttons: There are Copy buttons next to both the User and Password fields. Click these to copy the respective credentials to your clipboard.
Autogenerate
- Autogenerate Button: Clicking this button will generate a new password automatically. This can be useful if you need to update the password for security reasons.
URL Display and Management
- RTSP URL: At the bottom of the RTSP settings panel, you will see the RTSP URL.
- Show/Hide the URL: Click this button to show/hide the RTSP URL from view, enhancing security by preventing unauthorized copying of the URL.
Enable Live Video Audio/Enable Playback Audio
- Toggle Switch: Click OFF or ON to enable audio (when available).
Save Changes
- Update Button: Once you have made any changes to the User or Password fields, click the Update button to save the changes. If the button is disabled, ensure that all fields are filled correctly.
Backup tab
Accessing Cloud Backup Settings
- Navigate to the Camera Details page.
- Click on the Backup tab to open the Cloud Backup settings panel.
Enabling/Disabling Cloud Backup
- Toggle Switch: Located in the Cloud Backup settings panel, this switch allows you to enable or disable cloud backup.
- ON: When the switch is toggled to ON, cloud backup is enabled.
- OFF: When the switch is toggled to OFF, cloud backup is disabled.
Backup Duration
- 30-Day Backup: By default, enabling cloud backup will replicate the SD card content for 30 days in the cloud. This ensures that the most recent 30 days of footage is always available in the cloud.
Save Changes
- Update Button: After toggling the cloud backup switch, click the Update button to save the changes. The Update button is located to the right of the toggle switch. If the button is disabled, ensure that the toggle switch is correctly set.
Additional Cloud Backup Requirements
- Contact Vicon: If you require cloud backup for more than 30 days, contact Vicon for additional options and support.
Network Settings tab
Network Configuration Options
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
- DHCP Toggle Switch: Located at the top of the Network Settings panel, this switch allows you to enable or disable DHCP.
- ON: When the switch is toggled to ON, the camera will automatically obtain an IP address and other network settings from your DHCP server.
- OFF: When the switch is toggled to OFF, the IP address and other network parameters need to be configured manually.
Manual Network Configuration
If DHCP is disabled, manually enter the following network settings:
- IP Address: Enter the static IP address for the camera.
- Gateway: Enter the IP address of the network gateway.
- Netmask: Enter the subnet mask for the network.
- DNS Server: Enter the IP address of the DNS server.
Save Changes
- Update Button: After configuring the network settings, click the Update button to save the changes. The Update button is located to the right of the network configuration fields. If the button is disabled, ensure that all required fields are filled correctly.
