Enabling lockdown plans

You can enable lockdown plans by clicking the menu button and selecting Account. 

Within the Account section, toggle Enable Lockdown Plan to On. You will be prompted to enter a Lockdown Plan Duration. This allows administrators to set an expiration time on lockdowns—for example, if you want lockdowns to expire after 30 minutes by default, you can enter 30 into the field. If the field remains 0 then the lockdown will stay in effect until it is manually stopped. 

Creating lockdown plans

Once you have enabled Lockdown Plans within the Account Settings, you must create a Lockdown Plan workflow. 

1. Click the menu button and select Workflows.
2. Click the Add Workflow button.
3. In the Workflow creation screen, click the triggers dropdown and select Lockdown Plan.
   
4. Select the users or groups allowed to trigger this lockdown plan
   
5. Select an Expiration Date. After this date, users can no longer trigger the Lockdown Plan.
6. Click the Actions dropdown to select which action(s) you would like to occur when the Lockdown Plan is triggered.
   

Actions you can select

• Send Text Message: This allows you to send a text notification to a user or a group of users.
• Send Email: This allows you to send an email notification to a user or a group of users.
• Lockdown Door: This allows you to lockdown individual doors or doors within specific sites or zones.
• Enable LED: This allows the LEDs on the camera to flash to set alert color.
• Audio Alert: This allows the pre-recorded alert messages to play.

Activating or deactivating lockdowns

Once you have enabled a Lockdown Plan Workflow, you should see a Lockdown button at the top of your screen. 

Users who do not have permission to enable a lockdown will still see the Lockdown Plans Button. They cannot initiate a lockdown, and they will receive a "not authorized" notification if they try. 

Users with permission to enable the Lockdown Plan can click the button to open the Lockdown Popup. You can initiate a lockdown by clicking the Activate button within the popup. 

The lockdown will remain in effect until either it reaches the Lockdown Plan Duration period or an approved user manually reverts the Lockdown Plan by clicking Deactivate within the Lockdown Plan Popup.
